Special One Grain Accumulator Pty Ltd trading as Special One Grain (SOG) is 100% owned by growers. SOG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Walgett Special One Co-operative Ltd which has been successfully operating since 1987.

We retain the clear and simple philosophy of a cooperative – and that is to maximise returns for growers and we have evolved into an internationally focused company, creating pathways for high quality products from grain growers’ paddocks to our domestic and International customers’ plates.

We are now recognised internationally as a secure supplier of quality grain and have international customers contacting us to fill their grain requirements.

Integral to change and expansion has been the development of trusted, long-term partnerships. Special One Grain has cultivated close business partnerships with industry experts so as to continually deliver above average results for growers. We have a proven track record of achieving excellent results for growers, of constantly improving our capacity to satisfy long term customers requirements, of innovating, identifying and entering new markets both Domestically and Internationally.

Grower clients recognise the benefits of dealing with a financially secure operation. A secure funding facility is in place with the Commonwealth Bank. Strict credit limits are used to minimise counter party (buyer) risk and further security is achieved through counter-party insurance add thus protecting and ensuring grower payments.
